About this role
SoftQuantus is developing QCOS, a Quantum Control Operating System focused on benchmarking, reproducibility, drift analysis, and hardware reliability. We are seeking a PhD-level Scientific Advisor to help shape the scientific foundation of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design validation protocols for QCOS
- Develop reproducibility standards for quantum experiments
- Support publication-grade methodology and research output
- Advise on hardware scaling evaluation and performance metrics
- Review and validate benchmarking methodologies
Requirements
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong research track record with publications in quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum benchmarking methodologies
- Experience with noise modeling and error mitigation
- Knowledge of experimental reproducibility frameworks
- Hardware-aware quantum algorithm design experience
Nice to Have
- ○Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ions, neutral atoms)
- ○Prior advisory experience with deep-tech startups
- ○Connections to European quantum research institutions
