Hardware testbed

Everything up to the chip.

We do not own a quantum computer, and we would rather say so. Our testbed is the software, the tests and the instrument that a machine meets on its way to your job.

Footage: IBM Research. Not a SoftQuantus machine.

On the bench today

What we can test without a chip.

The same job flow, on a simulator

Submit, estimate, run and read the record on the CPU simulators. Nothing about the flow is a mock-up.

Tests a driver has to pass

Eleven published ACOS-ISA tests a hardware team runs against its own driver, on its own workstation or CI.

Error correction before the hardware

Stabilizer algebra, a library of codes and a BP+OSD decoder, exercised on the simulator.

Concept render of a 2U rack unit whose front panel reads NIO-Q.

Planned for 2027

An instrument of our own.

NIO-Q is a 19-inch, 2U instrument for controlling and measuring quantum devices, independent of the qubit technology behind it.

Where this goes

A bench anyone can check.

Softquantus CloudVision

A rehearsal before the real run

Try a job against a software stand-in for the machine you chose, before you spend anything on it.

QCOSVision

Twin records, side by side

The same job on a partner’s device and on the simulator, with the two records open next to each other.

QCOS BenchVision

A public scoreboard strangers can re-run

Every number comes with the script behind it, so a result that does not repeat is easy to spot.
