Quantum Software Engineer – Control & Orchestration

About this role
We are looking for a Quantum Software Engineer to build the core orchestration layer of QCOS. You will work on the fundamental infrastructure that connects quantum algorithms to hardware execution.
Focus Areas
- •Backend integration with quantum providers (IBM, Azure, AWS Braket)
- •Job scheduling and execution pipelines
- •Performance logging and telemetry systems
- •Hybrid HPC–Quantum workflows
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the QCOS orchestration layer
- Build reliable job scheduling and execution systems
- Integrate with multiple quantum hardware providers
- Develop performance monitoring and telemetry infrastructure
- Contribute to the open-source SDK and documentation
Requirements
- Strong Python experience (3+ years)
- Familiarity with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Understanding of quantum noise and hardware constraints
- Experience with distributed systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
Nice to Have
- ○Experience with HPC environments
- ○Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- ○Background in scientific computing
- ○Open-source contributions
